Tania Krätschmar wurde 1960 in Berlin geboren. Nach ihrem Germanistikstudium in Berlin, Florida und New York arbeitete sie als Bookscout in Manhattan. Heute ist sie als Texterin, Übersetzerin, Rezensentin und Autorin tätig. Sie hat einen Sohn und lebt in Berlin.
